Go to your ROSE Online Evolution Installation Directory
Default path: C:\Program Files\Triggersoft\ROSE Online Evolution
Right click: TRose.exe
Select: Properties

This is the property settings for the
TRose.exe application in your ROSE Online installation folder

Please note:
Compatibility mode: Set to Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 2)
Settings: Disable visual themes
Privilege Level: Run this program as an administrator


If your Privilege Level: Run this program as an administrator is grayed out

Vista has a feature called the "User Account Control" also known as UAC. This feature needs to be enabled on Vista.

To enable it go to the Control Panel > User Accounts > User Accounts > User Accounts Control

One final note

This is where it gets sticky. These setting changes will need to be applied every time there is a new patch received. It is unknown at the moment why, but please be aware that if you download a new patch you will need to make these setting changes again. Furthermore, when you go to make the changes, the settings will appear as if they are already set. Set them again. Uncheck all the boxes, click Apply, then recheck them all again and click "OK". I know that this may seem troublesome and anoying, but I assure you that we are looking into it for a permanent

Universal Solution
- Every time you log in (not to Rose, but to your User Account), you'll need to reset Run Compatibility for Rose Online & Trose & Trigger Detect (Trose & Trigger Detect may be eliminable here)
- Use Correct Settings for Rose Online, Trose, and Trigger Detect (Default settings recommended)


Correct Setting Patterns
Following these guidelines, experiment with the settings until you find one that works.
- Only make changes to Rose Online, Trose, and Trigger Detect (Trigger Detect may be eliminable here)
- Only Run Compatibility, Disable Visual Themes, and/or Run as Admin should be changed.
- (unsure) Rose Online, Trose, and Trigger Detect properties should be synced (Trigger Detect may be eliminable here)
